Why advancing Women in Energy is so important

It is important to promote the role of women in the energy transition because diversity is required to contemplate the different perspectives of the different stakeholder agendas that are part of the ecosystem. The diversity of experiences, cultures, knowledge, behaviors, abilities, enriches and allows us to walk towards an energy transition that involves the challenges of more entities. The female abilities to convene, innovate, include, and empathize are key in a process of change such as the one that the energy market is experiencing, which is no longer in the hands only of the state or big companies. Today it can be in the hands of all society to collaborate in the reduction of emissions and an efficient use of energy. The role of Women in Energy is to drive, promote, incorporate and attract more women to collaborate and mobilize from various fields of action.
