The FemPower Summer School (FSS) will take place from August 28th to September 1st, 2023, in the city of Thessaloniki. It is a fundamental activity of FemPower, an Erasmus+ program for Higher Education co-funded by the EU with partners from all over Europe, working in the fields of energy transition, gender equality, and STEM education. The FSS will involve 15 educators and 46 students from Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Serbia, Spain, and the Netherlands.
FSS aims to be as experiential and participatory as possible, inviting students to actively participate with their knowledge, experiences, and skills throughout the process. Furthermore, FSS aims to integrate a gender lens as a core aspect of all sessions and workshops.
The FSS will cover the following topics:
- Clean energy and gender mainstreaming
- Experiences of women in the CET
- Increasing the role of women in the CET
- Women and innovation in the CET
