European Commission

The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) will take place on 25-29 October 2021 under the theme: ‘Towards 2030: Reshaping the European Energy System’.

Last year, EUSEW went completely digital and this year you will be able to find us online once again. The event will comprise a 3-day digital policy conference, the EUSEW Awards, the second European Youth Energy Day as well as various networking activities. Participants will also have access to online side events and Energy Days, digital events taking place all over Europe.

WHAT?

The Policy Conference is the biggest European conference dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe. Once again, the Policy Conference will be organised in a digital format, under the theme ‘Towards 2030: Reshaping the European Energy System’.

Sessions organised by the European Commission and energy stakeholders will focus on sustainable energy issues, debate new policy developments, best practices and sustainable energy ideas. Alongside the conference, networking opportunities will gather the EUSEW Community online to forge alliances whilst the EUSEW Awards celebrate outstanding individuals, projects and ideas.

During the conference, the second European Youth Energy Day will gather 18-34-year-olds to share their ideas on how to transform Europe into the first climate-neutral continent.

In addition, an extended programme of side events will be taking place prior to the EU Sustainable Energy Week from 11 to 21 October.

WHEN AND WHERE?

The digital Policy Conference of EUSEW 2021 will take place online on 25-29 October.

Registration will launch in September!

WHO?

Public authorities, energy agencies, industry associations, businesses, civil society organisations and the media are all invited to take part in the Conference. Past speakers and participants have come from city councils and the European institutions, private companies and research organisations, citizen groups and NGOs.

WHY?

If your work supports an economy built on clean, secure, efficient energy, this event is for you. The EU Sustainable Energy Week is an opportunity to meet stakeholders promoting energy efficiency and renewable energies, to learn about successful policies and to inspire innovation to meet the EU’s energy and climate goals.
