Marisa Matias: PhD, is a psychologist and researcher at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto. Her work focuses on gender, work–family dynamics, parenting, and the social and institutional processes that shape equality across the life course. She has coordinated and participated in several national and European projects on gender equality and inclusive scientific excellence, including the Horizon 2020 project RESET – Redesigning Equality and Scientific Excellence Together. Marisa was actively involved in the definition and implementation of the University of Porto’s Gender Equality Plan. Her research combines a strong commitment to promoting structural and cultural transformation in higher education and family-related domains.

Wendy Harcourt: is Professor of Gender, Diversity and Sustainable Development at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of the Erasmus University Rotterdam in The Hague. From 2017-2022 she was coordinator of the EU H2020-MSCA-ITN Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks (ITN) WEGO (Well-being, Ecology, Gender, and Community). She is editor of 2 handbooks, 12 edited collections and 2 monographs. Body Politics in Development: Critical Debates in Gender and Development published by Zed Books in 2009, received the 2010 FWSA Book Prize. She is series editor of the Palgrave Gender, Development and Social Change series and Bloomsbury Academic New Critical Thinking in Development series. Her latest book, the first in the BA series, is Conundrums of Care: feminist entanglements in critical development studies published open access in December 2025.

Irma Nugrahanti: is a scholar-practitioner with over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector across Southeast Asia, the UK, the Netherlands, and the USA. She specialises in finance and program management, policy advocacy, resource mobilization, and GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion). She is currently a PhD researcher at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), analysing the intersection of gender, climate change, and public finance management, with a particular focus on gender-responsive climate budgeting at national and subnational levels. Irma holds a postgraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester, complemented by professional certifications in Local Economic Development, Management, Data Analysis, and Communications.
