Why advancing Women in Energy is so important

The energy transition is a major collective undertaking and can only succeed if we join forces and all play an active role in shaping it. The expansion of renewable energies is leading to the decentralisation and democratisation of energy systems. Digital technologies are opening up opportunities for completely new business models. New jobs and role models are emerging in various areas such as green entrepreneurship, community management, research and innovation. As an ambassador, I want to support women who are breaking new ground as leaders in the energy Industry and thus driving forward the energy transition.
